₹400 crore for research and development under the Strategic Hydrogen Innovation Partnership (SHIP).


₹388 crore for public awareness, skill development, and international collaboration.



This level of investment ensures that India not only creates domestic demand but also explores export opportunities with supportive policies and global partnerships.


Pilot Projects and Green Hydrogen Hubs


Pilot projects will be implemented across steel, mobility, and shipping sectors to demonstrate real-world applications. Additionally, the mission plans to establish at least two Green Hydrogen Hubs in the initial phase. These hubs will be developed with modern infrastructure to support large-scale production, storage, and utilization of hydrogen.
