The Bihar government has launched a new renewable energy policy with an investment target of ₹1.5 crore and the creation of over 500 jobs. Under this scheme, 3 gigawatts of solar capacity will be developed by 2027, helping meet Bihar’s electricity demand and contributing to India’s national target of 500 gigawatts.
In Himachal Pradesh, seven solar projects with a combined capacity of 92 megawatts are scheduled to be completed by December 2025. In Pune district, work has already begun on two projects of 12 and 11 megawatts each.
